BACKGROUND:

SWEMCO, a leader in electronic innovation and product realization for avionics, aerospace, medical equipment and manufacturing, partnered with PURO UV Disinfection Lighting to provide small businesses with the disinfectant power that was previously available to only large enterprises.

CHALLENGE:

Develop and deploy a marketing communications plan to target SWEMCO’s new small business market.

STRATEGY:

  • We developed a branding and messaging document from which all communications would be developed.

  • We designed and built a branded microsite where all advertising and communications would be driven. 

  • A series of progressive emails were developed and sent to a B-to-C audience over a series of 7 weeks starting with an introduction SWEMCO, followed with the effectiveness of the products, then completing the campaign with a strong “introductory price” call to action.  The email campaign received a 17% to  22% open rate with CTR up to 11%.

  • A digital advertising campaign was also deployed and ran over a series of 8 weeks which garnered 13% to 17% CTR.
